Broken Sprinkler Head Repair and Replacement

Broken heads are usually obvious — you'll see water spraying sideways, a cracked casing, or a head that sinks below grade and doesn't pop up. We carry replacement heads for all major brands and configurations in our service trucks, so most head repairs are completed in a single visit.

Clogged Sprinkler Heads

Clogged heads are sneaky — the head pops up and appears to work, but the spray pattern is inconsistent or weak. Sand, mineral deposits, and debris from the water line can all clog the nozzle. We clean clogged heads whenever possible, and replace them when cleaning isn't sufficient.

Sprinkler Heads Spraying the Sidewalk or Driveway

A head that's aimed at hardscape instead of turf wastes water and creates runoff issues. This is a common problem in San Marcos where heads get nudged by edging, frost heave, or soil settling. We adjust arc, radius, and aim on all types of heads — pop-up spray heads, rotor heads, and gear-drive rotors.

Low Spray, Poor Coverage, and Dry Spots

If you have dry spots in the lawn despite the system running, the cause is often insufficient head-to-head coverage. This happens when heads are spaced too far apart, operating at the wrong pressure, or when some heads have been replaced with incompatible models. We evaluate coverage zone by zone and correct it.
